Welcome!

This guide will support you in learning how to:

  • access research materials through McKillop libraries' online portal
  • differentiate between paid content from the library's EBSCO Article Search, specific research databases such as Science Direct, JSTOR, and Wiley Online Library.
  • filter and evaluate sources that you find in databases
  • identify characteristics of articles including primary research articles, secondary review articles, and general articles
  • locate the full text of an article, or use interlibrary loan to obtain access to articles from journals not owned by the library.

For help when you get to writing and citing of sources, see this page, Write and Cite, which will take you to another McKillop library guide, Get Started with Research.
