Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and the Critical Concerns of Mercy

Salve Regina's Civic Action Plan centers on the five Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy:
  • Earth
  • Immigration
  • Non-violence
  • Racism
  • Women
The university's signature programs embed civic engagement and community learning into academic and campus life. These programs are designed to develop awareness of the responsibilities of citizenship and stewardship of the earth and change-oriented strategies that transform individuals, the institution and the larger community.
